Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using ScanFlu, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Use of the Service
ScanFlu provides local tools to scan QR codes, compress and resize photos, scan documents, create and manage PDFs, and pack files into ZIP archives. An optional feature Photos → QR/Bar lets you share up to 10 photos via a private 28-day cloud link (see Privacy Policy). You may use these tools for lawful, personal, and professional purposes.
Your Content & QR/Bar Disclaimer
All files you process with ScanFlu remain yours. ScanFlu does not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use, share, and process the files you choose.
QR/barcodes you generate: ScanFlu is a generation tool only. Verify content before sharing or scanning. We are not responsible for data encoded in QR/barcodes or how recipients use it. Protected QRs are AES-encrypted and can only be opened in ScanFlu with the correct password — other scanners will see only scrambled data.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse ScanFlu. In particular, you may not use ScanFlu to:
- Access, unlock, or remove password protection from a file that you do not own or do not have lawful permission to access.
- Create or share location proof (Geo Photo) that misrepresents where or when it was taken, or share anyone's location without their consent.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Distribute malicious, infringing, or illegal content.
Password removal features are provided for educational and personal use on your own files only. Not all files can be unlocked, and some use encryption that cannot be bypassed.
No Warranty
ScanFlu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of ScanFlu, including loss of data or files.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ScanFlu after changes means you accept the updated terms.
